The St. Edward Green Wave smashed the visiting Westminster Christian Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Green Wave now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Riverside-Brookfield for a Metro Suburban match on Thursday, May 5. St. Edward will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Westminster Christian drops to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, May 9. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-2. Westlake Christian Academy won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Christian Life (Rockford, IL)
