Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) and the host Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO), saw Rifle's baseball squad knock off Roaring Fork by a count of 20-5.

Coming up next, the Bears play the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 6. Rifle will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record.

The Rams now possess a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Basalt for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 5. Roaring Fork will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-1.
