In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Scituate Spartans.
The Thunderbolts now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Classical for a Division 4 test on Thursday, May 5. Cranston East will face a Purples squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Purples record now stands at 1-5.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Monday, May 9. Scituate will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Sentinels come into the battle with a 7-1 record after their 5-3 league loss to North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI).
