The Lexington Minutemen lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the host Wilmington Wildcats to 11 in the Minutemen non-league win on Wednesday.
The Minutemen (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Raiders go into the Middlesex match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Melrose nudged Winchester (Winchester, MA), 8-7, in a league match.
The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA). The Tanners go into the Middlesex match with a 3-6 record. In their last match, Woburn Memorial nudged Watertown (Watertown, MA), 12-2, in a league match.
