Utah High School Lacrosse - Payson drops to Wasatch

May 4, 2022: Heber City, UT 84032

In Wednesday's league test, the host Wasatch Wasps lacrosse squad scored a good 16-1 victory over the Payson Lions.

The Wasps now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springville for a 5A Region 9 test on Friday, May 6. Wasatch will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-14.

In their next game, the Lions face the Provo Bulldogs (Provo, UT) in a 5A Region 9 test, on Friday, May 6. Payson will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 6-8 record after their 20-2 league loss to Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT).
