LaCrosse Tigers (LaCrosse, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington Township for a Porter County challenge on Thursday, May 5. LaCrosse will battle a Senators squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Lake Station Edison falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Fighting eagles travel to South Central (Union Mills, IN) to battle the Satellites in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Satellites enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. South Central won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Culver Academies (Culver, IN)
