Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 10-0 in a league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 19-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lakewood for a Licking County challenge on Thursday, May 5.
With the loss, Northridge falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Bishop Watterson won 10-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH)
