The Union County Yellowjackets routed the visiting Powdersville Patriots softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Daniel (Central, SC). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Daniel topped Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to Mid-Carolina for a non-league battle on Friday, May 6. Powdersville will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Daniel (Central, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 6-8.
