South Carolina High School Baseball - Barnwell wallops Kingstree

Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Kingstree Blazers (Kingstree, SC), 15-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Barnwell upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Warhorses travel to Buford (Lancaster, SC) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 15-9. Buford lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

With the defeat, Kingstree falls to 4-6 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2023 SCHSL Baseball State Championships: South Carolina - Class AA Lower District 7 tournament
