The Madison Mohawks baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Blanchester Wildcats to 2 in the Mohawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mohawks (2-11) will now prepare for their match against Carlisle (Carlisle, OH). The Indians go into the Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Carlisle was overwhelmed by Waynesville (Waynesville, OH), 7-3, in a league match.
The Wildcats (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Broncos go into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Western Brown was overwhelmed by Milford (Milford, OH), 13-8, in a non-league match.
