The Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) baseball trounced the visiting C.A. Johnson Hornets (Columbia, SC), 16-1 in Thursday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Saints encounter the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 6. Calhoun County will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC).

The Hornets now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Great Falls for a 1A Region 3 contest on Thursday, May 4. C.A. Johnson will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-17.
