In Thursday's non-league game, the host Newcastle Racers baseball team scored a nice 16-7 victory over the Clinton Red Tornadoes.
The Racers (29-9) will now prepare for their game against Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 29-5 record. In their last game, Lone Grove overcame Silo (Silo, OK), 7-4, in a non-league game.
The Red Tornadoes (14-22) will now prepare for their game against Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 21-16 record. In their last game, Bridge Creek was overwhelmed by Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK), 8-0, in a non-league game.
