Indiana High School Baseball - Eastern defeats Tri-Central

Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) boosters went home happy Thursday as they saw their baseball squad beat the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 11-3 in a league battle.

Coming up next, the Comets play the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 5. Eastern will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-14 record after their 11-1 league loss to Oak Hill (Converse, IN).

The Trojans now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tipton for a non-league battle on Monday, May 8. Tri-Central will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 23-5 league loss to Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-13.
