The Jersey Panthers nudged the host Notre Dame Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now hold a 10-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite City for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. Jersey will face a Warriors team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Roxana (Roxana, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-15.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Festus Tigers (Festus, MO) in a Class 5 District 1 bout, on Monday, May 8. Notre Dame will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record.
