Joppatowne Mariners (Joppa, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting National Academy Foundation Eagles (Baltimore, MD), 15-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Joppatowne upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Mariners travel to Elkton (Elkton, MD) to battle the Golden Elks in a Upper Chesapeake Bay test on Monday, May 8. The Golden Elks come into the test with a record of 5-11.
With the defeat, National Academy Foundation falls to 0-5 on the season.
