Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), 13-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southwestern upgrades its record to 19-10 on the season. The Piasa Birds travel to Greenville (Greenville, IL) to battle the Comets in a South Central test on Friday, May 5. The Comets come into the test with a record of 12-12. Greenville lost 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Altamont (Altamont, IL)

With the defeat, North Greene falls to 10-11 on the season. The Spartans travel to West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 9. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 16-7.
