The Plainfield Panthers crushed the host Norwich RVT Warriors baseball team by a count of 13-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host New London for a non-league game on Saturday, May 6. Plainfield will clash with a Whalers team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Whalers record now stands at 5-8.
The Warriors (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Wheeler ran past Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 5-0, in a non-league game.
