The West Bloomfield Lakers crushed the visiting Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish baseball team by a tally of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lakers now hold a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stevenson for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. West Bloomfield will face a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Belleville (Belleville, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 8-13.
Next, the Fighting Irish face the Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 8. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 6-12 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI).
