The Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) volleyball overcame the host Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Columbus East upgrades its record to 5-16 on the year. The Olympians travel to Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN) to play the Dragons in a IBVCA outing on Monday, May 8. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 4-10. Silver Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN)

The Hornets now own a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to International for a IBVCA test on Monday, May 8. Beech Grove will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Crosspointe Christian Academy (Indianapolis, IN). The Gryphons record now stands at 5-10.
