In Thursday's league battle, the Plainfield Co-op Cheetahs (Plainfield, IL) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), by a count of 14-5.
Coming up next, the Cheetahs clash with the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a Southwestern battle, on Monday, May 8. Plainfield Co-op will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 10-2 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
The Ironmen now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sandburg for a battle on Saturday, May 6. Normal Community will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 20-5 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-0.
