In Thursday's non-league battle, the host West Forsyth Titans soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hough Huskies.
The Titans (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons come into the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, R.J. Reynolds was nudged by East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Huskies (17-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the Queen City 3A/4A battle with a 11-7 record.
