Virginia High School Soccer - Virginia Episcopal School can't get by New Covenant

In Thursday's league battle, the host New Covenant Gryphons soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops.
The Bishops (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA). The Conquerors go into the battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Southwest Virginia Academy nipped TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
