Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 7-5 in a non-league test.

The Celtics now have a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lane Tech for a non-league test on Saturday, May 6. Providence Catholic will face a Lane Tech squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Northside (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 11-3.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 5. Brother Rice will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Redhawks come into the test with a 5-8 record after their 14-10 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
