The Shelton Gaels lacrosse team scored 9 points and limited the host Lyman Hall Trojans to 8 in the Gaels league triumph on Thursday.
The Gaels (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Titans enter the Southern Connecticut game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Sheehan edged Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT), 17-10, in a non-league game.
The Trojans (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Foran (Milford, CT). The Lions enter the Southern Connecticut game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Foran edged Branford (Branford, CT), 18-8, in a league game.
