The Downers Grove South Mustangs softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Bolingbrook Raiders to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Downers Grove South moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a non-league game on Saturday, May 6. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a record of 17-5. Andrew won 9-2 in their recent non-league game against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)
In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban game, on Tuesday, May 9. Bolingbrook will attempt to move on its 2-21 season record.
