Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), 17-3 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop Murphy for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, May 8. Cascade will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Lynnwood falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Royals host Everett (Everett, WA) to battle the Seagulls in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, May 8. The Seagulls enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Everett lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Snohomish (Snohomish, WA)
