Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Dayton Christian WARRIORS (Miamisburg, OH), 18-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 9-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catholic Central for a Ohio Heritage South challenge on Friday, May 5. Cedarville will battle a Irish squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH). The Irish record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Dayton Christian falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Archbishop Alter lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, OH)
