Cimarron Bluejays (Cimarron, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bluejays now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Colby for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Cimarron will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Ulysses (Ulysses, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Hugoton falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Scott (Scott City, KS) to battle the Beavers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Scott lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberal (Liberal, KS)
