Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY), 22-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meade County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Henderson County will battle a Green Waves squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Green Waves record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Crittenden County falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Rockets host Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY) to battle the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 15-2. Ballard Memorial won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY)
