Frankton Eagles (Frankton, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Hancock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. Frankton will battle a Royals squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Royals record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Eastbrook falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to battle the Indians in a Central Indiana challenge on Friday, May 5. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-4. Mississinewa won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN)
