In Thursday's league contest, the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), by a margin of 18-2.

With the triumph, Elk Point-Jefferson moves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Huskies host Canton (Canton, SD) to play the C-Hawks in a contest on Tuesday, May 9. The C-Hawks come into the contest with a record of 0-7. Canton lost 18-1 in their recent non-league contest against Lennox (Lennox, SD)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a contest, on Monday, May 8. Tri-Valley will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
