In Thursday's league contest, the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Seekonk Warriors (Seekonk, MA), by a margin of 14-2.
With the triumph, Greater New Bedford RVT moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA) to play the Raiders in a South Coast contest on Friday, May 5. The Raiders come into the contest with a record of 4-4.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 8. Seekonk will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
