Virginia High School Softball - Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Holmes

The Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) softball routed the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), 8-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Aces (13-7) will now prepare for their bout against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout with a 17-4 record. In their last bout, Camden County held off Manteo (Manteo, NC), 12-2, in a league bout.

The Saints now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league bout on Friday, May 5. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 12-4.
