The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) and the host Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), saw Seneca Valley's softball squad achieve victory over Kennedy by a count of 18-7.
The Screamin' Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wheaton for a Montgomery County 3A/2A match on Saturday, May 6.
With the loss, Kennedy falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD) to face the Rockets in a Montgomery County 4A - West match on Monday, May 8. The Rockets enter the match with a record of 1-7.
