Ohio High School Softball - McDonald bounces Mineral Ridge

May 4, 2023: Mineral Ridge, OH 44440

The McDonald Blue Devils routed the host Mineral Ridge Rams softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Blue Devils (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH). The Blue Devils go into the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Western Reserve notched a victory over Waterloo (Atwater, OH), 14-6, in a league battle.

The Rams now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Lowellville for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet battle on Tuesday, May 9. Mineral Ridge will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 2-7.
