Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN), 17-2 in a league challenge.
The Lakers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a Minneapolis City challenge on Friday, May 5.
With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Teddies travel to Patrick Henry (Minneapolis, MN) to face the Patriots in a Minneapolis City challenge on Monday, May 8. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
