Illinois High School Softball - Morris bounces Reed-Custer

May 4, 2023: Morris, IL 60450

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Morris Redskins (Morris, IL) and the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), witnessed Morris's softball squad tip Reed-Custer by a count of 7-0.

The Redskins now sport a 19-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oregon for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Morris will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 14-9.

With the loss, Reed-Custer moves to 4-14 on the season. The Comets travel to Seneca (Seneca, IL) to meet the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Friday, May 5. The Fighting Irish go into the match with a record of 18-5. Seneca won 15-0 in their recent league match against Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL)
