Connecticut High School Softball - Northwest Catholic falls to Plainville

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Plainville Blue Devils softball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Northwest Catholic Lions.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South outing, on Monday, May 8. Plainville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 8-6 record after their 22-5 league loss to Maloney (Meriden, CT).

The Lions (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans enter the Central Connecticut - West outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Simsbury ran past East Catholic (Manchester, CT), 15-2, in a non-league outing.
