In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Algonac Muskrats baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Standish-Sterling Panthers.
The Muskrats (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Croswell-Lexington (Croswell, MI). The Pioneers go into the Blue Water Area game with a 6-8 record.
The Panthers (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers go into the Tri-Valley - 10 game with a 1-4 record.
