In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Manalapan Braves baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Bayonne Bees.
The Braves (10-8) will now prepare for their game against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ). The Patriots go into the Shore - A North game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Freehold Township was overwhelmed by Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 5-4, in a league game.
The Bees (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Tigers go into the HCIAL - American game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Memorial tipped Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ), 13-1, in a non-league game.
