The Chesterton Trojans baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Hobart Brickies to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Trojans (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs go into the Duneland match with a 16-5 record. In their last match, Crown Point edged Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 6-2, in a non-league match.
The Brickies (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Highland (Highland, IN). The Trojans go into the Northwest Crossroads bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, Highland was tipped by Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN), 8-3, in a league bout.
