In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) baseball squad edged the visiting Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), by a final score of 1-0.
With the win, Collegiate upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA) to battle the Saints in a Virginia Prep challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. St. Anne's-Belfield won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA)
With the defeat, Potomac School falls to 17-4 on the season.
