Illinois High School Baseball - Glenbard East can't hold off Waubonsie Valley

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Glenbard East Rams.
The Warriors (17-8) will now prepare for their game against Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Huskies go into the DuPage Valley game with a 10-11 record. In their last game, Naperville North tipped Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 12-6, in a non-league game.
The Rams (15-10) will now prepare for their game against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Storm go into the Upstate Eight game with a 10-9 record. In their last game, South Elgin was edged by Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 5-4, in a league game.
