The Pompton Lakes Cardinals baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Passaic Indians to 1 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Panthers go into the NJIC - Colonial match with a 17-1 record.
The Indians (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Union City (Union City, NJ). The Soaring Eagles go into the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Union City edged Nutley (Nutley, NJ), 8-0, in a non-league match.
