In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting St. John-Vianney Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pleasantville Greyhounds.
The Lancers (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Jackson, NJ). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Liberty achieved victory over Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Greyhounds encounter the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) in a Cape-Atlantic battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Pleasantville will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ).
