In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) lacrosse squad nipped the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), by a margin of 8-7.
The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sparta (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record.
The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Colts enter the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Kinnelon was tipped by Westwood (Washington Township, NJ), 14-5, in a non-league challenge.
