The Lynden Lions softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Oak Harbor Wildcats to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lynden moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 8. The Storm come into the game with a record of 1-4. Squalicum lost 21-7 in their recent non-league game against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 6. Oak Harbor will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Pioneers come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
