Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 11-9 in a non-league battle.
The Bears now have a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Palatine for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 8.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley battle, on Tuesday, May 7. Cary-Grove will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Whip-Purs come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 19-8 league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL).
