In Saturday's non-league test, the host Lyons Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Evanston Wildkits.

The Lions now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Downers Grove South for a West Suburban test on Wednesday, May 8. Lyons will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.

In their next game, the Wildkits face the Glenbrook South Titans (Glenview, IL) in a Central Suburban test, on Tuesday, May 7. Evanston will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 17-1 league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, IL).
