The West Central Trojans softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, West Central moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Trojans host Madison (Madison, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, May 6. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-3. Madison won 7-1 in their recent league game against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD)

In their next game, the Cubs play the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a Class B game, on Monday, May 6. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Flyers come into the game with a 12-0 record after their 9-0 league win over Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy (Freeman, SD).
